In connection with a transition to a new Holidays Act, the holiday allowance earned by the employees during the period from 1 September 2019 until 31 August 2020 have been “frozen”. The “frozen” holiday allowance cannot be disbursed until the employee leave the Danish labour market permanently e.g. retirement or permanent relocation abroad.
